Short Bio

Jasmine R. Wilson is a versatile vocalist based in New York City. A passionate storyteller, she combines her background in western classical music with improvisation. Jasmine also regularly performs works by Black women composers as a vocalist with The Dream Unfinished, an activist orchestra. As an educator, she has taught music, improvisation, English as a Second Language, and public speaking in France, Canada, and across New York City. An experienced radio producer, she also works in television currently creating "media with impact" as a Community Engagement Specialist at New York City’s PBS station, WNET. Jasmine is a graduate of UNC School of the Arts (HS) and McGill University.
